This group of polish are the ones that I know I can just swipe on, and be happy. They're easy choices, and my go to when I'm stumped on what I want to wear.

Essie Cute As A Button
A toe must! This is my favorite color for my toe nails, and that's really the only place I wear it. I don't like the way it looks on my finger nails, so I just keep it for my toes.

OPI Brisbane Bronze
Probably my favorite color out of all the ones that I own. When I wear it, I prefer my nails to be short, and even. It looks so much better that way.

Julep Freida
The newest of the bunch. It really compliments my skin tone, and I wish it wasn't so gosh darn expensive! I will repurchase when I run out, hopefully Julep keeps them in stock.

OPI Mermaid's Tears
Another one that I feel looks great on my skin tone.

Essie Mint Candy Apple
A classic, I don't know of anyone who doesn't love this color. It's a fantastic shade for any season.

Zoya Phoebe
I love matte nail polishes for a quick, and last minute manicure. It looks great matte, and equally wonderful with a glossy top coat over it.

What are some of your favorite nail polishes?

  1. I recently had Mermaid's Tears put on at a salon and I loved it! I didn't paint my nails for 5 days, until it had worn too much to ignore it. I wish it was easier to get Zoya in the UK, that blue is so vivid.

    1. Do you know if the UK is eligible to participate in their Earth Day promotion? I got 7 Zoya polish for $4.00 each. This year's promotion already past, but it's a great way to get their polish cheaper. Not sure how it would be price wise for the UK though.

    2. I'd never seen it anywhere, and suddenly I find a UK site that sells what looks like the majority of them! £10.50, so nowhere near $4, but if the craving gets too much at least they're there.
Well, that was a dangerous discovery ;)

    3. Here I only know of one store that sells them, but not any that I like. Other than little nail boutiques, I get mine online for the promotion. They're not easy to find here either, which is why i don't have that many, and most came from the promotion. I hope you guys can participate next year, You're supposed to trade in your older polish, but I ended up just recycling it my own way instead.

I know Sinful colors has a dupe for Mermaid's Tears, and I think that one is still out.

  2. That's a cool idea!

When I had MT on my hands, I put Essie Turquoise & Caicos on my toes and I think they're very close, if not dupes. Need someone to do a comparison!

    1. I don't have the Essie one, if I did I would have probably already done it. I did some googling, and found a few comparisons.
